Like Most: We have a very close-knit relationship with the vendor and work directly with them when we have needs.

Like Least: Built-in MFA is not currently available. A third-party option is available, but expensive. As sensitive data is involved, this seems as if it should be built into the core product offering.

Like Most: PDS offers both an On-Premise or a Cloud solution with recruiting, to onboarding, to a HRIS new hire all in one vendor. It can handle multi state and multi payroll companies. PDS Vista listens to customers for input on product enhancements.

Like Least: Initially I found a challenge with the security configuration and security administration within PDS Vista, there was a learning curve with understanding the functionality on navigating through the security options as to what a user can see or have application access to.

Like Most: We have experienced exceptional customer service with fast response from the support team. The payroll and benefits modules minimize manual input for the HR department.

Like Least: I have found it difficult to implement new processes, this has steadily improved. I think they could use better guides for setting up the new page views.

Align Implementation Resources. A well run implementation will be dependent on your having your expectations aligned to PDS implementation approach.

Vendor Partnership. If you are looking for a vendor that values and acts on your feedback. PDS Vista is user-friendly, the company is responsive to issues, and they are constantly increasing the functionality of the product


Know Your Business Needs. PDS does a very good job, but no one is going to know your business better than you do. Be sure to take time to really explore the components of the system and ensure that it will be a good fit, not just for the immediate but the future as well.

Flexibility. Of all the HCM solutions we considered, none of them offered the same easy-to-use, semi-customizable platform like PDS.
